Arizona Storm Club Volleyball
Arizona Storm Elite VBC
In 2004, Arizona Storm Volleyball Club was established by owner Andja Langseth. In 2007, Terri Spann joined Arizona Storm as a volleyball coach. In 2010, Terri was promoted to club director. Under Andja and Terri’s leadership Arizona Storm’s local popularity increased and the name Arizona Storm became synonymous with girls club volleyball excellence nationwide. In 2013, Arizona Storm won its first of three Open Junior Girls National Championships. By the 2017-2018 season, Arizona Storm had grown to 18 teams, with 6 competing at the Open level. At the 2018 Triple Crown in Salt Lake City, Arizona Storm won Open Division championships at the 14, 15 and 17U levels and was humbled to receive its first Volleyball Club of the Year award.
Before the 2018-2019 season, Andja decided that it was time to spend more time with her family and sold Arizona Storm to her longtime friend and co-worker, Terri. Terri is excited to usher in the next era of Arizona Storm volleyball. Moving forward, the club will officially be known as Arizona Storm Elite VBC doing business as Arizona Storm. Arizona Storm will continue to provide its female athletes with: access to the best volleyball coaches; the volleyball skills and fundamentals necessary to take their game to the highest level of their volleyball potential; a positive and rewarding, competitive environment in which to train; and important life lessons about leadership, team work, cooperation, fair play and a healthy and active lifestyle.
