Shasta Millhollin comes to Storm with 15+ years of combined coaching and playing experience. After serving as the starting setter for 4 years at Ponderosa High School, Shasta went on to pursue college volleyball at Solano Junior college where she was ranked 4th in the state in total assists, and 3rd in assists per game and currently holds the Bay Valley Conference total assists record, assists per game, and assists in a single match. Shasta transferred to Notre Dame De Namur University where she was named 2006-2007 Pacific West Conference Female Athlete of the Year and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.

For the past five years Shasta has coached for some of the top ranked clubs in the nation including Gold Cal Volleyball Club, Vision Volleyball Club and City Beach Volleyball Club 17s (one of the top ranked 17 and under teams in the country this 2006-2007). Since moving to Arizona, Shasta has coached as a Graduate Assistant for Arizona State University 2008, Club Red 17 Black 2009, and is Currently the Head Girls Volleyball Coach at Westwood High School. As an assistant coach for Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, California she helped lead the team to the CIF playoffs in 2004, 2006, and 2007.

Shasta has also coached a number of high level camps for Ponderosa High School, Oakridge High School, Solano Junior College and Stanford University, and ASU. Shasta has received specialized training with Gold Medal Squared and The Positive Coaching Alliance.

Shasta looks forward to bringing her enthusiasm, leadership and passion to the Storm as they look to make their mark in AZ Region play.
